In the summer of 2024, Mrs. DuBois Harris returns to the operatic stage in the role of Nedda in Leoncavallo’s I Pagliacci with New Rochelle Opera. She has appeared as the title role of Verdi’s Aida, Desdemona in Otello, Cio Cio San in Madame Butterfly, Mimi in La Boheme, Tigrana in Edgar by Puccini, The Countess in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Micaela in Bizet’s Carmen -“She made it essentially beauty touching." She has also sung Bess in Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, and in contemporary operas as the title role Ellabelle in Ellabelle Davis by Cribari, Jenny in Frederick Douglass by Moore, Ann in Harriett Tubman by Edwards and as Betty Shabazz in X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X by Davis. Earlier this season, Mrs. DuBois Harris was the featured guest artist with Uniting Voices Chicago in a series of concerts and masterclasses in a city-wide outreach initiative with over 3,000 young singers at the Chicago Cultural Center and The Chicago Symphony Center. She has performed recitals, orchestral concerts, and orchestral works such as the Verdi Requiem, Rossini’s Stabat Mater, Dvorak’s Stabat Mater, and the Mozart Requiem with Orchestra of Saint Lukes, Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Opera Orchestra of New York, Richmond Symphony, Rockland County Choral Society, Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra, Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic, and the Grande Orchestra Filarmonica.  She has sung in St. David’s Hall (Cardiff, Wales), Carnegie Hall, New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), The Apollo Theater, Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, Merkin Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and David Geffen Hall to name a few. She has worked under the baton of Maestri Eve Queler, Anton Guardagno, Willie Waters, Gregory Ortega, Louis Solemno, Randall Behr, Anatolia Chepurnov, Sergei Kondrashev. Known as “The Voice” to the stars, spiritual leaders, and leaders of nations, DuBois Harris is known as “The Queen of Soul’s” Aretha Franklin’s favorite soprano. She was hand selected by her to perform curated Aretha Franklin presents concerts: entitled “A Two Night Revival”, “GospelFest”, and “The Gospel Legends”. She was asked by her family and honored to perform at the late Queen of Soul’s Funeral where she sang her often requested hymn personally from Ms. Franklin, Great Is Thy Faithfulness— broadcasted worldwide.  “Audrey DuBois Harris, who had previously sung for both [Aretha] Franklin and President Barack Obama blurred the lines between classical and gospel with a riveting, octave-leaping rendition of this hymn that raised the steeple off of the church. Her dramatic grandeur would have played just as well at the Met [Metropolitan Opera].” New York Post Audrey is also known as “The President’s Soloist” to Barack Obama singing the National Anthem and “Christmas at The White House” where she presented a full concert of classical, sacred, gospel, and Christmas classics for President Obama and his guests. In addition, she has performed both the American and Canadian national anthems for The U.S. Consulate General Montreal on many occasions and performed at The White House hosted event “Florida Highwaymen” exhibit at the Montreal Art Center. She was part of the First National Assembly of Quebec's recognized Nelson Mandela Day celebration in Quebec, Canada. Hosted at the historic Union United Church where South African President Nelson Mandela spoke during his first official trip to Canada. DuBois Harris was a featured presenter on the red circle of  TEDx Montreal Women where she performed under the annual themes of “Bridges” and “It’s About Time”. She was personally invited by the Reverend Jesse Jackson to join him and The Rainbow PUSH Coalition to perform for a series of MLK50 events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the assassination of civil rights icon Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in Memphis, Tennessee. She sang an inspirational rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” for the national television broadcast of the events ceremony at the Mason Temple COGIC, where Dr. King delivered his historic “Mountaintop” speech the night before his untimely death. She has been the Official Day Soloist for the 110th, 109th, 108th, 107th, and 105th COGIC Holy Convocation; performing for more than 40,000 attendees at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri and televised to more than 2 million viewers on The Word Network in addition to LIVE streams on various network social media platforms. DuBois Harris also participated in “A Day of Remembrance” event at the National Civil Rights Museum. “To listen to Audrey is to hear the soul and science of music,” noted Jackson. “Her singing, interpretation and presentation is what music looks and sounds like.” Jackson also invited her to perform at the annual Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee service in remembrance of “Bloody Sunday” on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Alabama, where Jackson, U.S. Representative John Lewis, and Vice President Kamala Harris led the march amongst other dignitaries and luminaries.

 DuBois Harris has an illustrious list of recording credits to her repertoire and music catalog. She debuted as a recording artist with her release of Testimony, a soaring collection of inspirational music and hope-filled hymns. As the Executive Producer of the project, DuBois Harris proves her mettle not only as a singer but also as arranger and songwriter; arranging all songs and writing the title track. Her artistry not only includes vocal performance but composition as well. Testimony reflects her authentic voice as a powerful performer with a sincere heart of faith. The project introduced her globally as one of the most exciting discoveries in the sphere of classically trained vocalists. Audrey is a native of Miami, Florida and an alumna of New World School of Arts, where she studied under the guidance of her cherished mentor, International Opera Soprano Birgit Fioravante and the prestigious Juilliard School of Music in New York City, where she received a full scholarship. She continues her vocal studies with her beloved teacher and mentor, celebrated Metropolitan Opera Mezzo Soprano Shirley Love. She is the winner and recipient of numerous awards: Metropolitan Opera National Council Audition, Opera Index Vocal Competition, Florida Grand Opera Vocal Competition, Palm Beach Opera Competition, Marian Anderson Classical Icon Vocal Competition, New Jersey Verismo Opera Competition, National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA), and Marcelo Giordani Foundation International Competition.

 In addition to appearances on some of the world’s most venerated stages, she has demonstrated her heart for worthy causes, sharing her gifts to benefit such foundations and organizations as: Yele Haiti (founded by Grammy Award-winning recording artist Wyclef Jean), Helping Hands Bring Sunshine, Stroke of Hope, Saved For Life, PepsiCo Foundation, Rainbow PUSH Coalition, The Equal Justice Initiative, National Action Network, Midnight Run, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, and The American Red Cross. She is also passionate about sharing her music, wisdom, and faith with young music majors through numerous outreach appearances, masterclasses, and seminars.
